Village Outdoor \u2013 RCircular Trail from Lake Sacrow to the Heilandskirche and through the K\u00f6nigswald Forest<\/h4>

Somewhat hidden and not as prominent as the Havel lakes is Lake Sacrow, a particularly clean and beautiful bathing lake in western Berlin.
\nThe starting point of our tour is the northern tip of the lake, on the outskirts of Gro\u00df Glienicke. From here, we hike along the lakeshore through pine and mixed forests, which repeatedly offer views of the water. After a while, we reach the village of Sacrow and enter the historic park of Sacrow Palace.<\/p>\n

The palace is open in summer, and we have the opportunity to view the current exhibition EXIT PARADISE \u2013 a collection of selected works from the Miettinen Collection, which showcases fragmented, pop, and queer body images (admission 8 euros).
\nThe highlight of the park is the Italianate Heilandskirche on the shore of Lake Jungfernsee. Here we can have a picnic and enjoy the view of the impressive backdrop of Potsdam on the opposite shore.<\/p>\n

The rest of the trail takes us along a chain of lakes, from Jungfernsee via Lehnitzsee to Krampnitzer See. From there, we walk through a dense forest of tall pines and oaks back to the starting point at Sacrower See, where a beautiful swimming spot awaits us. Here, we can end the hike with a refreshing dip in the water.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s a kiosk-like snack bar in Sacrow<\/strong>, but feel free to bring something for a picnic. And most importantly: don\u2019t forget your swimsuit!<\/p>\n

What\u2019s Village Outdoor?<\/strong>
\nVillage outdoor Events are monthly meetups for the we are village community and their friends to enjoy outdoor activities in and around Berlin.
\nActivities include forest hikes, bike tours, swimming in lakes, sightseeing, and kayaking. Each month features a free and easy walk or hike in Berlin or its surrounding areas, accessible by public transport.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n
