Description
Queer Needlework Circle
QNC Collective
The Queer Needlework Circle (QNC) is a group of LGBTQIA+ textile needleworkers who meet regularly to share different techniques and work creatively together.
The group meets weekly to exchange ideas on textile crafts, and each member creates their own garments This may involve embroidery, knitting, crochet, weaving, sewing, quilting or patchwork, for example…
You can also bring along an existing project that you would like to work on.
At each meeting, the participants share their experiences and support each other in their creative process. Workshops are also organized that focus on a specific technique.
The group also gets together for other moments of sharing, such as group shopping trips for the purchase of materials and inspiration.
Anyone who has an eye of a needle and identifies with LGBTQIA+ is invited to take part in our events. What happens in a circle stays in a circle. We work together to create a safe space for ourselves and others.

This event will be in German and/or English depending on the needs of the participants.
